Michelle Strain
MBLC Approved Teacher

I discovered mindfulness in 2010, when a colleague introduced it during a team development session. My interest has been incremental since this time. My passion is now to bring the benefits of mindfulness to as many people as possible.


MindfullyMe was founded by myself, Michelle Strain in 2019.  Having established a regular mindfulness practice as a means of managing the stresses of work and daily life, I wanted to share the life changing benefits far and wide.  I commenced the teacher training programme with the Mindfulness Association and am now an accredited Mindfulness Based Living teacher.


On an individual basis, mindfulness can be a powerful self-care tool.  While mindfulness implemented systemically, in the workplace can be a means of creating a more supportive and compassionate team/organisational culture.


Whether you fully embrace daily meditation and living mindfully; or SIMPLY find that bringing awareness to your breath brings you some moments of stillness, I truly believe there is a space for mindfulness in all our lives – hence “MindfullyMe”.

So, what is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present and aware of what is happening, while it is happening. Sounds simple? However, think about how much of your life you spend doing one thing and thinking about something else? Or how much time and energy you use up, agonising about past events or worrying about the future?
